Advanced Anastomotic Techniques in IBD Surgery

Wednesday 2nd July 2025

09:30 - 12:00

£20.00

The Dukes' Club, in collaboration with the ACPGBI IBD Subcommittee, will be organising, for the second year in a row, a practical skills course on Advanced Anastomotic Techniques in IBD Surgery, at ACPGBI 2025.

This hands-on course will focus on ileoanal pouch anastomosis and Kono-S anastomosis, key techniques in complex IBD surgical management. Participants will work in pairs, practicing on pig tissue to replicate real-world surgical conditions, ensuring a highly practical and immersive learning experience.

Designed for trainees seeking to refine their skills in advanced anastomotic techniques, this workshop provides a unique opportunity to enhance technical proficiency in a collaborative setting.
