Welcome to the BASL2021 Virtual Annual Meeting Registration Portal.

The BASL Annual Meeting is the highlight of the BASL calendar and the main liver meeting in the UK, where all of us interested in liver disease will share time whether we are clinicians, nurses, basic scientists, pharmacists, working in industry or students. 
 
The BASL2021 Annual Meeting will be held online virtually and the programme will run on from Tuesday 21st September to Friday 24th September.

The Tuesday sessions will be organised by the BLTG and you can select to join for this day only.

The BLNA will also be organising sessions on Friday to run parallel and the full rate will cover these sessions.

BASL Events Data Protection

When you book one of our virtual events we collect personal information about you such as name, address, email, phone, credit card information any other information required.

Delegates

We may share information with third parties such as a limited delegate list with sponsors or exhibitors or your finance department for invoicing.  If required, we will also share your attendance signature with the relevant CPD authority.

Registration

By registering you agree to be contacted by BASL, the event organisers and sponsors or exhibitors (via BASL), at any time (prior to, during and after) on matters relating to the meeting including promotion of any part of the meeting such as industry symposia.

Speakers

Information such as your name, job title, organisation, photo and biography may be shared publicly on the website and social media, and, to delegates within the programme. Personal information as well as your presentation may also be shared with our AV company.

Where you provide us with personal information about someone else

If you provide us with someone else’s personal information by registering them as a delegate or include co-authors in your abstract, you should only do so if you have their authority or consent to do so. You should also take reasonable steps to inform them of the information set out in the Privacy Policies.

Meeting platform & Programme

A list of all registered attendees may be added to the conference platform and programme which is available only to registered attendees and exhibitors. As requested by past participants, this includes your name and organisation and does not include contact information.

Meeting platform - Contact Exchange

The meeting platform has the facility to exchange contact details with fellow attendees.   Please be advised that these details include your name, organisation and email address that you register with. 

Photographs

Photographs may be taken during the virtual conference and shared on our website and social media.  If you wish to be excluded from photographs please contact us prior to the event start date.

Communication

We will communicate with you via email, phone or post which may include event and booking details.

Registration Cancellation Policy: Cancellations may be made until Friday 3rd September 2021 and a FULL REFUND will be issued. Notification of cancellations must be sent in writing to the BASL Event Managers. Cancellations will not be accepted after this date and NO REFUNDS will be made after this date. Exceptional circumstances for cancellation may be considered after 3rd September and the final decision will be made by the BASL Executive Committee. Substitutions of attendees can be made at any time but any changes must be made by contacting the BASL Event Managers on steve@basl.org.uk. Payment by Invoice: If you have selected to pay by invoice and your hospital finance department needs a Purchase Order included on the invoice, please send this within 14 days of registering to Jane Douthwaite on jane.douthwaite@execbs.com. If you do not send through the correct invoicing details then you will personally be responsible for any outstanding payment.
