On behalf of the British Toxicology Society (BTS), I should like to inform you that the BTS Annual Congress 2026 will be held at Voco St, Johns, Solihull on Monday 27th to Wednesday 29th April 2026. 

The Congress which commences on Monday 27th April brings together individuals from academia, industry, the NHS, regulatory and governmental agencies with a shared interest, enthusiasm and passion for the science and practice of toxicology. It offers a great opportunity to meet and network with colleagues, industry representatives, and peers across the spectrum of experience and interests within the field.

As with previous BTS Annual Congresses, there will be a number of symposia, oral and poster communications, a Study Directors’ workshop, Speciality Sections round table discussions and Award Lectures.

When you book one of our events or submit an abstract, we collect personal information about you such as name, address, email, phone, membership status, credit card information any other information required.

Delegates
We may share information with third parties such as the venue for dietary or special access requirements, the hotel for rooming requirements, a limited delegate list that includes your name and affiliation with exhibitors or your finance department for invoicing.  If required, we will also share your attendance signature with the relevant CPD authority.

Registration
By registering you agree to be contacted by The BTS, the event organisers and sponsors or exhibitors (via The BTS), at any time (prior to, during and after) on matters relating to the meeting including promotion of any part of the meeting such as industry symposia.

Speakers
Information such as your name, job title, organisation, photo and biography may be shared publicly on the website and social media, and, to delegates within the programme. Personal information as well as your presentation may also be shared with our AV company.

Where you provide us with personal information about someone else
If you provide us with someone else’s personal information by registering them as a delegate or include co-authors in your abstract, you should only do so if you have their authority or consent to do so. You should also take reasonable steps to inform them of the information set out in the Privacy Policies.

Conference App & Programme
A list of all registered attendees may be added to the conference App and programme which is available only to registered attendees and exhibitors. This includes your name and organisation and does not include contact information. Your name and organisation will also appear on your name badge.

Conference App - Contact Exchange
The Conference App has the facility to exchange contact details with fellow attendees by scanning a QR or bar code - Please be advised that these details include your name, organisation and email address that you register with.

Photographs
Photographs may be taken during sessions, break times, exhibition and social events which may be shared on our website and social media.  If you wish to be excluded from photographs please contact us prior to the event start date.

Communication
We will communicate with you via email, phone or post which may include event and booking details. Third parties may also contact you with conference related promotions.

Future Marketing
We would like to contact you in the future with information about similar BTS events and activities. You can unsubscribe from these at any time.

BTS-SETAC UK Satellite Workshop

BTS-SETAC UK Satellite Workshop

 

In an exciting new partnership, the BTS and UK branch of the Society for Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) are hosting a joint workshop on ‘Science shaping regulation - Towards adoption of animal-free, exposure-driven approaches in UK chemical regulation’ to take place immediately after the BTS Annual Congress at VOCO St John’s Hotel on the afternoon of Wednesday 29th April 2026.

 

BTS Congress delegates working in this area are encouraged to complete the Expression of Interest form HERE 

The deadline for expressions of interest is Friday 30th January 2026. Following this date, SETAC UK will follow up with instructions for registering and submitting abstracts for the workshop.

 

Please note spaces for this workshop are limited and the Expression of Interest form may be closed early if there is high demand. Please note that registration at the BTS Congress does not guarantee a place at the workshop.

 

Summary

Terms and Conditions
In order to confirm your place at this event please read the following statement and confirm that you are in agreement. Payment terms: Payment terms are strictly 30 days’ net from date of invoice. If booking within 30 days of the event payment must be received 3 weeks prior to the event start date. If within this 3-week timescale, payment must be made at time of registration. Invoice requests: It is your responsibility to make sure that your finance department processes the invoice in time. Registration requesting payment by invoice will only be processed if a purchase order is entered on the payment request page. Payment must be received within 30 days of invoice issue date. If paying by BACS please send a copy of the BACS payment advice note to accounts@thebts.org If your Trust, employer or third party are listed as responsible for payment of your registration fee, if payment is not received, you, as the person who registered, will be held personally liable for the fee directly. Cancellations: Notice of cancellation should be made in writing to meetings@thebts.org. Cancellations received by 1st March 2026 will receive a refund minus 20% for administration costs. For cancellations received after this date there will be no refund and if payment has not been received delegates will still be liable for the full delegate fee, this will also apply to delegates registered after 1st March 2026. Exceptional circumstances for cancellation may be considered after 1st March 2026 and the final decision will be made by the BTS Executive Committee. Substitutions of attendees can be made at any time but any changes must be made by contacting the BTS Event Managers on meetings@thebts.org. Disclaimer: The conference organiser reserves the right to make changes to the conference programme and speakers without prior notice.
