BTS Skills Gap Initiative: 2025 training modules

 

Following the success of the first training module ‘An Introduction to the principles of regulatory toxicology: present and future’ which attracted more than 150 registrations, the BTS Skills Gap Initiative (supported by the Advisory Board and Steering Committee) is pleased to announce the following training modules planned for 2025.

 

The 2025 training modules will be presented by experts from industry, academia and regulatory authorities, and are intended provide more in-depth training in areas of interest.  The first training module will also be repeated this year.  
Registration for each module is open, with a registration cost of £250 per module.  A certificate of attendance will be provided on completion of a module.
Please note that timings and content detail may be subject to change.   Modules have a registration limit, and also require a minimum number of participants to go ahead.

When you book one of our events or submit an abstract, we collect personal information about you such as name, address, email, phone, membership status, credit card information any other information required.

Registration
By registering you agree to be contacted by The BTS, the event organisers and sponsors or exhibitors (via The BTS), at any time (prior to, during and after) on matters relating to the meeting including promotion of any part of the meeting such as industry symposia.

Speakers
Information such as your name, job title, organisation, photo and biography may be shared publicly on the website and social media, and, to delegates within the programme. Personal information as well as your presentation may also be shared with our AV company.

Where you provide us with personal information about someone else
If you provide us with someone else’s personal information by registering them as a delegate or include co-authors in your abstract, you should only do so if you have their authority or consent to do so. You should also take reasonable steps to inform them of the information set out in the Privacy Policies.

Photographs
Photographs may be taken during sessions, break times, exhibition and social events which may be shared on our website and social media.  If you wish to be excluded from photographs please contact us prior to the event start date.

Communication
We will communicate with you via email, phone or post which may include event and booking details. Third parties may also contact you with conference related promotions.

Future Marketing
We would like to contact you in the future with information about similar BTS & BPS events and activities. You can unsubscribe from these at any time.

Terms and Conditions
In order to confirm your place at this event please read the following statement and confirm that you are in agreement. Payment terms: Payment terms are strictly 30 days’ net from date of invoice. If booking within 30 days of the event payment must be received 3 weeks prior to the event start date. If within this 3-week timescale, payment must be made at time of registration. Invoice requests: It is your responsibility to make sure that your finance department processes the invoice in time. Registration requesting payment by invoice will only be processed if a purchase order is entered on the payment request page. Payment must be received within 30 days of invoice issue date. If paying by BACS please send a copy of the BACS payment advice note to accounts@thebts.org Cancellations: Notice of cancellation should be made in writing to meetings@thebts.org. Cancellations received by 8 weeks before the module start date will receive a refund minus 20% for administration costs. For cancellations received after this date there will be no refund and if payment has not been received delegates will still be liable for the full delegate fee, this will also apply to delegates who register within 8 weeks of the event. Substitutions of attendees can be made at any time but any changes must be made by contacting the BTS Event Managers on meetings@thebts.org. Disclaimer: The meeting organisers reserves the right to make changes to the programme and speakers without prior notice.
